Ayurvedic Doula & Women’s Health Training

Ayurveda for the Womb, Birth & Postpartum Continuum

A one-year apprenticeship in Ayurvedic women’s medicine, birth and postpartum care, herbalism, bodywork, ceremony, and embodied practice.

Join me and a circle of women in a deeply rooted, embodied approach to caring for women across the entire womb continuum.

More Than a Doula Training

Womb Ways is both an Ayurvedic doula training and an Ayurvedic women’s health training,

offering a depth of study that extends far beyond birth alone.

THE WHOLE CONTINUUM

Menstrual & womb health · Fertility & preconception · Pregnancy · Birth · Postpartum · Loss

ROOTED IN TRADITIONAL AYURVEDA

Learn how Ayurveda understands the body, health, imbalance, and healing—not simply a collection of protocols.

FROM KNOWLEDGE TO EMBODIMENT

Through practice, mentorship, somatics, and lived experience, knowledge becomes embodied wisdom—nurturing your unique gifts and the way this work moves through you in service to others.

This apprenticeship isn't only about learning Ayurveda—it's about becoming the kind of practitioner whose presence is as healing as the knowledge they carry.

“I expected to learn a lot (which I did!), but I didn't expect to be utterly transformed.

Participating in the Womb Ways Ayurveda Course is not just signing up for a training,

it's an opportunity to reclaim your seat of power.”

— Audrey Moore

Why Ayurveda for the Birthing Continuum

Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, recognizes pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as sacred rites of passage that deserve thoughtful, individualized care.

For thousands of years, these teachings have supported women through nourishment, herbal medicine, bodywork, ceremony, and deep respect for the natural rhythms of healing.

In a culture where postpartum is often associated with depletion and isolation, Ayurveda reminds us that with the right support, this season can become one of profound healing and renewal.

When mothers are deeply nourished, families flourish.

How the Apprenticeship Unfolds

Each Womb Ways Apprenticeship moves through the curriculum together as a seasonal cohort.

Rather than rushing through information, the apprenticeship follows a gentle rhythm of learning, gathering, practicing, and embodying.

Throughout the year, you'll be supported through recorded teachings, live mentorship, guided clinical practicums, community, and a clear pathway to certification.

Learn

Twenty Learning Modules

Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll receive twenty Learning Modules, released every two weeks outside of the seasonal rest months.

Once released, each module remains available throughout your apprenticeship, allowing you to revisit the material whenever you need.

Each module includes:

  • Approximately 1–2 hours of prerecorded teaching• Downloadable slides and class notes

  • Home assignments including required readings, written reflections, ritual and embodied practices, Ayurvedic observation and self-inquiry, case studies, and practical application

This spacious rhythm allows time to study, practice, reflect, and integrate before moving forward.

Gather

Live Mentorship Circles

The Mentorship Circles are the heart of Womb Ways.

This is where practitioner presence is cultivated—where we move beyond simply knowing the teachings to embodying them.

Through experiential practices and rituals such as guided visualizations, somatic meditations, and plant spirit meditations with herbal teas, we develop the presence, intuition, and embodied skills that are essential to how we show up for the families we serve.

Sixteen live Mentorship Circles are offered throughout the year, and every gathering is recorded.

Together we'll:

• Ask questions and receive personalized mentorship

• Explore clinical case studies• Deepen Ayurvedic understanding

• Develop intuition, attunement, and practitioner presence

• Build confidence as practitioners

• Learn within a supportive community

Practice

Guided Clinical Practicums

Knowledge becomes wisdom through experience.

During the second half of the apprenticeship, you'll begin offering Ayurvedic care through four guided clinical practicums, where you'll work with real clients across the reproductive continuum to assess their needs, create individualized care plans, offer supportive practices, and reflect on your experience.

Rather than waiting until the end of your studies, your clinical experience unfolds alongside the remaining teachings, allowing learning and practice to deepen together.

Learning in Rhythm with Nature

In honor of the cyclical wisdom Ayurveda teaches us to trust, the apprenticeship intentionally pauses during June and December.

During these months:

• No new Learning Modules are released

• No live Mentorship Circles are held

This spacious pause allows time to rest, integrate, catch up, and return renewed for the next season of learning.

Because rest is not separate from learning.

It is part of learning.

More than a Certification

This is an Apprenticeship

In many educational programs, information is delivered as quickly as possible. At Womb Ways, we intentionally move differently. Rather than consuming more information, Ayurveda teaches that transformation happens through digestion, relationship, lived experience, and embodiment.

This apprenticeship unfolds slowly, giving each teaching time to settle into your body before moving on.

My intention isn't simply to teach you Ayurveda.

It's to support you in becoming a grounded, compassionate, and skillful practitioner who trusts both the ancient teachings and her own intuition.

Certification Pathways

Certification is optional. For those who wish to become certified, two pathways are available:

Level 1 — Certified Womb Ways Ayurvedic Doula

Level 2 — Certified Womb Ways Practitioner & Ayurvedic Doula
