“Going into this training, I expected to learn a lot (which I did!), but I didn't expect to be utterly transformed. Growing up in a world that often dismisses or invalidates the experience of the womb, for the first time I experienced a space dedicated to tending and nurturing it instead. Katia shares her tremendous knowledge, compassion and deep caring through every single aspect of this offering. Participating in the Womb Ways Ayurveda Course is not just signing up for a course, it's an opportunity to reclaim your seat of power.”

Join me as we dive deep into the ancient and profound art of Ayurvedic women's medicine.
This course is designed to share authentic Ayurveda for Womb Healing, Preconception, Pregnancy, Birth, Postpartum & beyond.
This work is a soul calling.
Here you will learn the ancient healing techniques of how to care for women through the entire journey of bringing a soul to earth, and then how to nurture new mothers and babies in their sacred postpartum window.
We will learn herbal medicine, Ayurvedic nutrition & nourishing foods, postpartum healing treatments, medicinal oils, bodywork therapies, womb massage, as well as ritual and ceremonial support for the entire menstrual & reproductive continuum.
I believe in the importance of women being witnessed during this immensely transformative journey.
When mamas are supported and nourished on all levels- physically, emotionally, and spiritually- they thrive.
When mothers thrive, babies and families thrive too.
“Being able to learn from Katia in her Ayurvedic Doula course was such an honor. She approaches teaching with so much love, respect, and care and it translates into classes that are engaging and inspiring.
The course content was well paced, digestible, and highly applicable.
In addition to the actual material, Katia’s ability to hold a safe container for learning, growing, and exploring Ayurvedic care was invaluable. Her nurturing presence not only created a sense of community but allowed us to deeply immerse ourselves into these ancient teachings.
I am so inspired and excited to incorporate Katia’s teaching into my own life, as well as into the care I offer to new mamas. I can’t wait for more opportunities to deepen my Ayurvedic knowledge with this wise woman!”

This was truly the training of my dreams. A combination of deep wisdom, wholesome group connection, shared vulnerability, and tangible practice. Every educational day together felt like ceremony and celebration. I feel motivated moving forward to put the wisdom into practice, and carry forward the love and care that was cultivated in this space.
-Aleah Armstrong
“I loved the Ayuredic Doula training with Katia. Her teaching style honors Ayurvedic oral traditions as well as other ancestral and communal wisdom. Her classes feel like a real departure from the patriarchal, academic way of learning and instead the information is conveyed in a far more holistic and feminine way.
Katia is also extremely knowledgeable in all things Ayurveda and she has an answer or line of thought for every question you could possibly pose.
I left the training feeling like I had access to a new healing modality/philosophy to offer my clients and myself. I also left with an increased curiosity to learn more about Ayurveda in general. Also, the class on womb massage felt life changing in and of itself...I highly recommend!”
-Katie Simpson
“Learning from Katia is a gift beyond words. She is an incredible translator of Ayurvedic wisdom and an impeccable female lineage holder. When you learn from Katia, it is as if the entire Ayruvedic lineage and all of it's teachings are poured into your crown in their entirety. Her classes are so grounding, nourishing, and full of immense compassion.
I could go on and on... “

I have benefited so much from your Ayurvedic Doula Training! Learning how to nourish my body during my second pregnancy and understanding the tools needed to have a healing postpartum period has been a gift from the universe. Your humbling power and knowledge is inspiring. You have a wealth of knowledge and are able to present it in a way that’s approachable and fun, allowing one to be able to fully receive it in a way that makes sense and can be applied to their life; whether it be as a mama, expecting mama, or a birth worker. Thank you with all my heart for being the authentic woman and mama that you are.
-Lauren Egavian
I had the honor of being a part of Katia’s Ayurvedic Doula Training. Throughout the course, Katia shared her deep wisdom knowledge, and passion for Ayurveda in the realm of preconception, conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It was my first time learning about Ayurveda and I am beyond happy that I did. I gained so much rich information that I get to apply to my own health journey, as well as with current and future birth/postpartum clients. It was just the postpartum course that I had been craving ever since I started working with new families. I truly am so glad I took the course. I would be really excited for your next offering!
-Chloe Pena
Katia’s Ayurvedic Doula training was a beautiful transformative experience, consisting of the sharing of deep knowledge, heartfelt emotion, personal narratives, and lighthearted laughter. Every class sparked so much new curiosity and revelation, and Katia’s knowledge and teaching was such a gift to be received. Moving forward I’m so inspired to continue my journey of learning from Katia, and feel empowered to put to practice the work that was so lovingly and intentionally demonstrated.

This course has been a life changer for me. After my second baby I knew I wanted to become a postpartum doula, and taking this course just enhanced my love and need to continue this journey. Katia is an amazing teacher, she is so welcoming, understanding and kind. She brings such light, knowledge and laughter to her classes. I am beyond grateful for her and all the other women who participated in this course with me! It has opened up my heart and capacity to care for myself so that I can care for other women, especially during the tender postpartum time. I would 100% recommend her course, and I will be continuing my knowledge with more of her courses in the future!
-Ariana Pacheco
Katia's Womb Ways Ayurvedic Class was everything I hoped for and more. Over the course of 12 weeks, I learned so many practical and beautiful tools for supporting women through the birth continuum. Katia weaves her deep expertise in women's health with lived experience, creating lessons that feel both wise and practical. Even through a screen, her nurturing, compassionate presence was palpable.
But the most powerful part for me was meeting Katia and the incredible women in this container in person. One word that comes to mind: sisterhood. Over three days together, we opened our hearts, we cried, laughed, learned, and witnessed each other stepping into our next chapter as carriers of this ancient wisdom.
As an acupuncturist interested in specializing in women’s health and fertility, I’m so inspired to bring these teachings into my own work. Katia is a gift, generous in her teachings, heart-centered, and deeply committed to this path. I'm incredibly grateful to have been part of this journey.
-Kristy Callon
Katia is an exceptional teacher with a profound depth of knowledge and wisdom. Her deep respect for her teachers and the roots of Ayurveda is inspiring, and it’s clear she has studied extensively. Her teaching style is mindful, grounded, open-minded, and sattvic. I was truly impressed by her and by the other women in the class, each of whom shared valuable insights, heartfelt stories, and a rich sense of soul and womb energy.
I felt honored to be part of this virtual circle of womban. As a postpartum nurse and birthkeeper, I am committed to continuing my study and practice of Ayurveda to support my own womb health and the wombs of others. I’ve already noticed shifts in my approach to care and hope to incorporate womb healing into hospital settings. My ultimate dream is also to establish my own holistic practice outside of the hospital to serve women more deeply.
Additionally, I am excited to share this wisdom with my baby girl as she grows into a woman, what a gift ! I am so grateful for all of the love and energy Katia put into this class!

Why Ayurveda for the Birthing Continuum?
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic medical system that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Like any medical system, it has a clear, documented way of understanding the body, both physically and psychologically. Known as the science of life, Ayurveda teaches that the elements that exist in nature, also exist in us, and play an important role in maintaining the health of our bodies and minds. Ayurveda offers a profound approach to preconception care, pregnancy & birth support, and tending to postpartum, full of ancient wisdom and love.
Ayurveda for Postpartum Healing
The wisdom of how to support mamas and new families has been forgotten, in our modern culture the word postpartum is synonymous with postpartum depression and many of the disorders that arise are actually a symptom of lack of support and dishonoring of the motherbaby dyad. Ayurveda recognizes postpartum as a time when the mothers health and physiology is as delicate as her newborn baby. Ayurveda offers a profound approach to supporting the physical body to heal and rejuvenate after birth. With the right support, postpartum can be an incredibly healing time. The postpartum window requires a specific container of trust and nourishment to hold the newborn parents as they transform. Respecting and centering the motherbaby dyad opens up possibilities to heal generational trauma.
The health of this world begins with nourished mothers and thriving families.
